What you´ll be doing:

  • Support the Project Manager in planning, organizing, and executing project activities
  • Collaborate with project team in the preparation of simulation scenarios and experimental evaluations of the maritime learning technologies
  • Assist in the development and implementation of digital educational tools, including intelligent learning system, instructional videos, and chatbots
  • Contribute to the research, development and dissemination of AI-assisted training packages and pedagogical guidelines for instructors
  • Prepare status reports and communication materials for stakeholders (internal and external) and consortium partners
  • Collaborate with project team in meetings and discussions to ensure tasks are completed on schedule and within budget

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • If you have additional qualifications in Communication Studies, Educational Technology, Human Factors, UX/UI Design, or a related field it will be an added advantage
  • You have experience with maritime training environments, including simulation technologies, learning analytics platforms, and adaptive learning strategies
  • You have competence in multimedia production, including video editing, and digital communication platforms

What we’re looking for:

  • A Masters Degree in maritime studies or other relevant qualifications
  • Knowledge of simulator-based maritime operations and routine maritime communication
  • Knowledge of innovative learning technologies and the ability to evaluate and support simulator-based learning experiences
  • Experience in both quantitative and qualitative research methods
  • Good organizational skills and working efficiently in inter-disciplinary research environment.
  • Full professional proficiency (written and spoken) in English

Salary according to Collective agreement for universities of applied sciences and internal directives. The position includes a probationary period equal to half the length of the contract.

Employment:

For the period 18.11.2024 – 31.10.2025 or according to the agreement. Part-time employment possible by agreement.
